To install Stingblade Professional, there is an optional step to either drill or stick the holder into place.
If you want to avoid drilling, you can use adhesive strips, in order to secure the holder into place.
Depending on either option, make sure you install the tool upright, as shown in the diagram.
You can detach the blade from your Stingblade Professional by turning the tool upside down, and lifting the tab as shown in the diagram.
After detaching the blade, you can then replace or change the blade itself by carefully removing and inserting the new one in its place.
When actually using the tool to remove micro-barbs, simply glide the tool up and down the stung area, following the S T I N G principles.
Once the micro-barb comes into contact with the skin, it locks down by inserting a sharp sting-like grip above the skin.
Once attached, the micro-barb inserts powerful stings under the skin itself, locking itself with barbs.
The moment the membrane of the micro-barb is touched, it pushes the bag of venom down under the skin.
This is why we recommend that you do not touch it. Instead, scrape the base of the skin with a Stingblade.

Stop. Don’t touch the skin: Touching and rubbing the area can push stingers into the body.
Treat with Stingblade: Thoroughly scrape the affected area to remove all Jellyfish stingers.
Immerse in hot water: As hot as the patient can stand, without burning. This deactivates the toxin. Should you not have access to hot water, you can use sea water instead.
Never use cold fresh water: Fresh water can release more toxin from the stingers.
Get help (if needed): Monitor the patient and seek medical attention quickly if needed.
In the sea? Stay sting-free!
…you know it makes sense!
