Summer is peak jellyfish season and this year, Stingblade has been taking the fight against jellyfish stings directly to the Balearic beaches that need us most. So, how does Stingblade work? With two variations, Stingblade is a precision-engineered tool to scrape off any jellyfish barbs. If you are using Stingblade Personal, wrap it around your arm for mid-swim access when in the ocean. On the other hand, the Professional version is for localised access. Whilst personal provides easy access, professional is designed for mounting on lifeguard stations, boats, and other establishments. Both providing a great solution in case of a jellyfish emergency; and now you can partner with us.
Since the past few weeks, we’ve been touring the Balearic Islands. And we’ve been working with diving schools, lifeguards, beach clubs, watersports operators, and beachfront businesses across Mallorca and Ibiza. Our mission is simple: Make Stingblade available wherever jellyfish stings are most likely to occur. So when someone gets stung, the solution is available.
Every new Stingblade partner helps us move one step closer to providing a trusted first response and a solution to jellyfish stings across Europe’s busiest coastlines.

Stingblade in Mallorca
Mallorca has been the starting point of our summer tour. Being stationed at Puerto Portals, we are introducing ourselves to holidaymakers. In the last two weeks since our opening, we have been meeting members of the Stingblade Club to visitors intrigued about the jellyfish sting innovation on the port.
Whether you’re enjoying a family beach day, diving beneath the surface, or exploring the coastline, having immediate access to effective sting relief makes all the difference. And if you are around Mallorca, we would love to continue meeting you.
Stingblade in Ibiza
Our journey is now continuing in Ibiza. And as we connect with more coastal businesses who understand the importance of a jellyfish sting solution during the busy summer season, we’d like to meet more of you.
Do you run a shoreside establishment and think you can become a Stingblade distributor? We’d love to connect with you.
Stingblade Making Headlines
As we progress through the summer, we have also had some media attention. Some of our recent features include:
- Stingblade featured by the Majorca Bulletin
“When there is something strange in the Balearic sea, you are going to call the Stingblade jelly busters….”, a piece by Daily Majorca Bulletin.
- Stingblade interview by Heat Mallorca
“The reason Mallorca has been infested… like the rest of the Mediterranean, it has not been sustainably fished…”, in an interview by Heat Mallorca Radio.
We continually strive to fuel the growing awareness around jellyfish safety and grateful to be part of the conversation.
